Norfolk Admirals Golf Shootout 2012

The 2012 Norfolk Admirals Golf Shootout will take place at Elizabeth Manor Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.

One current Admiral player or an Admirals representative will be paired with every group. In addition, the tournament will feature several hockey-themed events, including the “Closest to the (Hockey) Stick,” “He Shoots, He Scores,” "Softest Hands by the Green," and “Five-Hole in One.” Prizes for the tournament are also hockey-based with Admirals season tickets, jerseys, corporate box seats, gift certificates and autographed memorabilia up for grabs.

The shotgun start is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and the tournament will conclude with an awards ceremony, complete with dinner. Proceeds from the Golf Shootout will benefit Operation Smile and Admirals Angels. Operation Smile mobilizes a world of generous hearts to heal children's smiles and transform lives across the globe. Operation Smile’s network of volunteers works worldwide to repair childhood facial deformities including cleft lips and cleft palates. Operation Smile corporate headquarters is based in Norfolk.

The Admirals Angels program allows the Admirals to provide an enjoyable night of hockey for groups of disadvantaged children, people with disabilities, veterans and other deserving organizations.
