The Admirals then play 14 of the next 18 games on the road leading up to a five-game homestand in December. The defending Western Conference Champion Manitoba Moose’s first ever visit to Scope will take place during that homestand on Friday and Saturday, December 11 and 12.
The regular season will come to a close during the second week of April as the Admirals will host the Bears again on Friday, April 9 and 10.
Twenty-five of Norfolk’s 40 home games take place after the turn of the calendar year. The longest homestand is six games in early February. The Admirals will enjoy stretches of four or more consecutive home games five times in 2009-10. Norfolk’s longest road trip of the season takes place in mid-November with an eight-game trip over 13 days.
