NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals have signed defenseman Kenny Macaulay and forward Connor Shields to Professional Tryout Contracts (PTOs).

Macaulay, 25, is a 5-foot-10, 193-pound defenseman from Baddeck, Nova Scotia. He has split the season between the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL and the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL. Macaulay appeared in 146 career collegiate games between the University of Vermont and the University of Findlay scoring 12 goals and 62 points.

Shields, 26, is a 6-foot-0, 190-pound forward from Edmonton, Alberta.
