TAMPA BAY, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning, NHL parent club of the Norfolk Admirals, have assigned goaltender Mike Smith to the Admirals on a conditioning assignment today, Lightning Vice President and General Manager Steve Yzerman announced.
