Dana DeFilippo joined the Admirals prior to the 2011-12 season after spending four seasons as Community Programs Manager for the Bowie Baysox baseball team, the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. During her time with the Baysox, DeFilippo headed programs such as the Give Back program, which helped raise money for over 20 local non-profit organizations, the Read and Hit a Homerun Program, reaching over 60,000 students in over 260 local schools, and Louie's Kid's Club.
A 2007 graduate of Boston College, DeFilippo holds a degree in Communication and Sports Marketing. The native of Bethany, Connecticut, has held internships with ESPN, the New York Red Bulls (MLS) and the New England Patriots (NFL) / Revolution (MLS). While in school, she also worked for the Boston College football team in the video department.
Besides the Admirals, DeFilippo is a fan of the New York Mets, New York Giants, New Jersey Devils and Boston College Eagles hockey team.
