Admirals Set Sail for St. John's, Newfoundland

NORFOLK, Va. – Two of the AHL's top teams will clash on Friday and Saturday nights as the Admirals chart a course for St. John's, Newfoundland, in the first ever regular season meetings between Norfolk and the IceCaps.

Last week, the Admirals briefly returned home before embarking on the road once again. Norfolk fell to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 4-2, on Wednesday night at Scope. The Admirals then dropped the puck on a four-game road trip on Friday in Albany, where they were doubled up by the Devils, 2-1. Norfolk then got revenge on the Penguins on Saturday night in Pennsylvania, scoring four unanswered third period goals en route to a 5-3 come-from-behind victory. The win on Saturday snapped eight-game winning streaks for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and goaltender Brad Thiessen.

This week, the Admirals close out their four-game road trip against the IceCaps with games on Friday and Saturday nights. Both games start at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The Admirals then return to Scope next week with contests on November 23, 25 and 26. Please see below for details.
