Admirals Look to Carry Momentum into D.C., Binghamton

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals look to carry the momentum of last weekend's wins in Hershey and Bridgeport into a pair of East Division matchups this week. Norfolk travels to Washington, D.C, for the Washington AHL Showcase on Thursday against Hershey and to Binghamton, N.Y., on Saturday for the fourth meeting of the season against the Senators.

The Admirals began last week with a 5-2 setback at Scope in the first meeting of the season against the Bears. However, the teams met again on Saturday with Emerson Etem scoring twice and Patrick Maroon adding three assists in a 5-1 win in Hershey. The next evening in Bridgeport, Frederik Andersen made 32 saves and ten different players recorded points as the Admirals topped the Sound Tigers, 4-1.

Looking forward, the Admirals will take on the Hershey Bears in the Washington AHL Showcase, presented by GEICO, at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. The Admirals then travel to Binghamton, N.Y., on Saturday for a 7:05 p.m. game against the Senators.
