NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals have clinched a spot in the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs with a win over the Hershey Bears, 3-1, Friday night at the Norfolk Scope Arena.
The Admirals have one game left on their regular season schedule against East Division opponent, Binghamton. Norfolk is 40-25-3-7 and stand in eighth with 90 points in the Eastern Conference. Norfolk topped Hershey Wednesday night, 5-3, to take sole possession of eighth before shutting the door on the Bears and their playoff chances with another victory this evening.
Admirals' season ticket holders can purchase tickets beginning April 21 while postseason ticket sales open to the general public on Wednesday, April 23. Individual ticket prices for the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs are $23.00 for Gold, $20.00 for Red and $18.00 for White. Fans receive a discount when purchasing playoff tickets in advance of the day of the game, with $19.50 tickets for Gold, $16.50 tickets for Red and $14.50 tickets for White.
