Bakersfield Recalls Goaltender Ty Rimmer

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals announce today that their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, have recalled goaltender, Ty Rimmer. Rimmer, 23, has been recalled two prior times this season, playing in one game for the Bakersfield Condors, posting a 3.00 GAA and 0.875 SAV% in a 5-3 win over the Stockton Heat. With 56 ECHL games in his career, Rimmer has played in 34 games with the Norfolk Admirals this season, posting a record of 14-13-3-1, a 3.02 GAA, and a .910 SAV%. The Admirals remain on the road with a game on Wednesday, Mar. 16 and face the Elmira Jackals at 7:05 p.m. The team will return home for a weekend back-to-back series against the Reading Royals Friday, Mar. 18 and Saturday, Mar. 19.
