NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, have announced "Hometown Hockey" as their official slogan for the 2016-17 campaign. The rich tradition of the sport within Norfolk, accompanied with the organization's expanded effort to engage the community for the upcoming year makes "Hometown Hockey" a perfect fit. Fans are encouraged to begin using the phrase on social media, including #HometownHockey on Twitter.  Be sure to stay tuned to the Admirals website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the implementation of the slogan. The Admirals begin the 2016-17 season on Friday, October 14 against the Kalamazoo Wings at the Norfolk Scope. Season tickets and ten packs are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 757-640-1212.
