Steven Tarasuk Dealt To Alaska

NORFOLK, VA. – The Norfolk Admirals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, have traded defensemen Steven Tarasuk to the Alaska Aces, the team announced on Tuesday. Tarasuk, 26, dressed in Friday night’s season opener for the Admirals and was scratched on Saturday. The roster move now leaves the Admirals with six defensemen and 20 total players on the roster. The Admirals are expected to announce the signing of a new goaltender tomorrow, while Connor Knapp prepares to tend the net on Wednesday night when the Admirals take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Puck drop is set for 7:15 at Norfolk Scope Arena. Tickets are on sale now at the Norfolk Scope box office and online at Ticketmaster.com.
