NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals announced a pair of roster moves ahead of tonight's game against the Florida Everblades, adding defenseman Mikael Tam to the active roster once again and releasing forward Lukas Lofquist.
Tam, 25, rejoins Norfolk after yet another stint with the west coast American Hockey League affiliate. The Bakersfield Condors called the Quebec native up on February 10th and played him in just one one contest. Through 15 games this season, the offensive defenseman has 15 points in an Admirals sweater. He was officially reassigned this morning and is indeed here in Norfolk, ready to play tonight.
Lofquist, 21, was placed on waivers after participating in just 10 games with the team. The young Swedish forward had three points.
The Admirals take on the Florida Everblades at Norfolk Scope Arena tonight, beginning at 7:15 PM. It is the first of five home games in a row between now and Saturday, March 5. Tickets for all games are on sale now on ticketmaster.com, as well as at the Norfolk Scope Arena box office.
