NORFOLK, VA. – The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators, announced defenseman Tim Daly has been assigned to Norfolk by the Manitoba Moose (AHL).
Daly, who appeared in 59 games for the Utah Grizzlies last season, finished sixth on the team in tallying 38 points (10g, 28a). The Maple Ridge, BC native’s plus 24 rating placed him among the top ten defensemen in the ECHL. The 2017-18 season will be Daly’s second stint in Norfolk, after playing 12 games in Norfolk last season. A St. Cloud State alum, Daly was acquired along with Erik Bradford by the Admirals in the deal that sent Gabriel Verpaelst to Utah.
In additional roster moves the Admirals released forwards Mike Driscoll, Colin Murray, and Dean Niezgoda from tryout agreements.
Full and partial season ticket plans are also on sale now and start as low as $96. Memberships can be purchased by contacting the Admirals at 757-640-1212 or on norfolkadmirals.com
