Sidorkiewicz Returns for Second Season

Norfolk, VA – The Norfolk Admirals, proud member of the ECHL, have re-signed assistant coach Peter Sidorkiewicz to a one-year contract for the 2018-19 season.

Sidorkiewicz, 54, returns for his second season with the Admirals, and 18th behind the bench. The native of Poland joined the Admirals last season after spending the previous two seasons coaching in Austria.

“The way last season ended, we really started to come together and compete night in and night out,” said Sidorkiewicz. “I’m looking forward to coming back and building on that success.”

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Sidorkiewicz played 14 seasons professionally. A fifth-round draft pick of the Washington Capitals, Sidorkiewicz appeared in 246 NHL games and appeared in the 1993 NHL All-Star Game.

The Admirals 30th anniversary season will kick off on October 13 as they host the Wheeling Nailers.
