Jaeckle Re-signs with Admirals

Norfolk, VA - The Norfolk Admirals are proud to announce that they have re-signed defenseman Alex Jaeckle for the 2019-2020 ECHL season. This will be Jaeckle’s 1st full season in Norfolk.

Jaeckle, 24, recorded 2 points in the 2018-2019 season (2a) in just 11 games played with the Admirals after finishing his senior season at Canisius College.  Jaeckle made his Admirals debut on March 15th in South Carolina.

The 6’3, 198lbs St. Claire Shores, MI native spent 4 seasons at NCAA D1 Canisius College from 2015-2019, posting 28 points in 113 career games with the Golden Griffins before turning pro. From 2012-2015, Jaeckle played in 82 career games in North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the Springfield Jr. Blues and Johnstown Tomahawks, posting 21 points on 8 goals and 13 assists.

The Admirals will open their 31st season of hockey at the Norfolk Scope Arena on October 11th against the Florida Everblades. Season tickets are available now!
