NORFOLK, VA – The Norfolk Admirals announced today that they have re-signed Forward Brody Crane to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Crane enters his third season of professional hockey in the ECHL and second with the Admirals. He suited up for 28 games in Norfolk in 2025-26, slashing nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points. Before that, he was traded mid-season on Jan. 13 from the Jacksonville Icemen to complete a future-considerations term of a trade for forward David Jankowski.
Crane played in 93 games across a season and a half with the Icemen, scoring 18 goals and adding 19 assists for 37 points.
"Brody is now in that spot with 100 Pro games under his belt. He has breakout game capability - this year we expect him to have a breakthrough to be pushing as a top production forward in the league,” said Admirals Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Carr. “How he does the little things in the weight room, at practice and during the hard parts of the game and season will dictate the level he gets to.”
“Super excited to be back in front of our fans at Scope," Crane stated. "Great returning group of guys coming back and excited to start competing for the ultimate prize in June.”
The Union, ON native spent five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the London Knights, Niagara IceDogs and the Guelph Storm. He appeared in 171 games across the three clubs, putting up 31 goals, 50 assists and 81 points.
