NORFOLK, VA – The Norfolk Admirals announced today that the team has signed Goaltender Collin Delia to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
The Rancho Cucamonga, CA native brings nine years of professional hockey experience to the Admirals; appearing in 52 NHL games between the Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks. He held a 19-18-7 record with a 3.51 goals against average and .897 save percentage between the two clubs. His best season in the NHL was with Chicago in the 2018-19 year where he managed a .908 save percentage and 3.61 goals against average with 6-4-1 record.
Delia's career unsurpassed game came on Dec. 18, 2021, with the Blackhawks. He made 35 saves on 36 shots to lead Chicago to a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.
"Filling top goalies that became available this summer was our number one priority. “The pedigree and experience speaks for itself with Collin," said Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Carr. "We’re thrilled to sign an NHL experienced goalie not only for the on-ice play - but also his leadership in our dressing room."

The bulk of Delia's career has transpired in the American Hockey League. Playing 181 total games with the Rockford IceHogs, Abbotsford Canucks, Manitoba Moose and Bakersfield Condors. He owns a 2.95 goals against average, a .901save percentage, seven shutouts and an 88-72-15 record in the AHL.
He recently went overseas for the 2025-26 season with the Brynäs IF in the Swedish Hockey League before returning to North America.
