Betker Reassigned To Norfolk

NORFOLK, VA. - The Bakersfield Condors, American Hockey League affiliate of the Norfolk Admirals, announced the reassignment of defenseman Ben Betker on Wednesday afternoon.

Betker, 22, played 49 games with the Admirals last season, totaling 17 points.  Standing at 6'6" - 223 lbs., the 2013 draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers has played 15 games at the AHL level with Bakersfield thus far this campaign.

Hailing from Cranbrook, British Columbia, the left-handed shot is expected to make his Admirals season debut on Friday when the team hosts the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

Tonight the Admirals take on the Florida Everblades, beginning at 7:15 PM at Norfolk Scope Arena.  It is the first of five in a row at home for Norfolk.  Tickets for all games are on sale now on Ticketmaster.com, as well as at the Norfolk Scope box office.
