Admirals Sign Holy Cross Standout Moore

Norfolk, VA.– The Norfolk Admirals have signed forward T.J. Moore the team announced on Thursday afternoon.

Moore, who played four seasons at Holy Cross, finished his college career netting a career high 30 points (8g, 22a) in 36 games. Moore, who led the Crusaders in goals during two of his four seasons with the team, finished with 106 points (47g, 59a) in 133 games during his college career. The forward was an alternate captain during both his junior and senior seasons.

Before attending Holy Cross, Moore was teammates with Grant Besse and Christian Horn at Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School in Minnesota. Moore was second on the team in scoring behind Besse during his junior year when the Red Knights won the MN State Title. The 23-year old netted 189 points (87g, 102a) in 140 games during his high school career. He also played five games for the Chicago Steel of the USHL.

In a corresponding move the Admirals have released forward Matt McMorrow from his ATO.

Moore will be in Norfolk for the weekend’s games against Greenville (Mar. 16, 17) and Jacksonville (Mar. 18).
