The Norfolk Admirals are hosting the Annual Teddy Bear Toss at Scope Arena on December 11th at 7:30 PM. Fans are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to be donated to local children’s hospitals and nonprofits. When the Admirals score their first goal of the night, fans toss the stuffed animals onto the ice to be collected.
Every year the Norfolk Admirals host our annual Teddy Bear Toss as a toy drive for local community organizations who support and help make the holiday season special for Children by donating the toys as gifts for Christmas. Fans are encouraged to participate in this holiday tradition and come out to enjoy a night of fun with their family and friends. Last year the team raised over 1,000 stuffed animals and this year we are asking fans to help us build on that success!
This year's Teddy Bear Toss will include a post-game skate with Salty! Post-game skates are free for all those in attendance and include complimentary skate rentals, while supplies last.
Tickets also include access to the pre-game JR. Whalers Double Header against local rival the Richmond Generals with Elite at 11:30 AM and premier at 2:30PM.

Can't make the game but still want to donate? Drop off your stuffed animal donations at the Admirals office prior to the game Monday-Friday between the hours of 10-4p and our staff will make sure your bears get tossed on the ice and donated! We will also recognize you on our auxiliary boards the night of the event!
