Norfolk, Va. - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announce that no sensitive credit card or bank account information was released in the data breach. At approximately 12:00 p.m. today, the Norfolk Admirals were made aware of a data breach that pasted some customer information, including e-mail addresses. Approximately 250 accounts were affected. No sensitive personal or financial information was released in the breach. The Norfolk Admirals are taking this threat seriously and want to reassure its fans and customers that additional measures have been put in place to ensure their private information remains secure. The Admirals do not retain, collect, or store the financial information of our customers. Norfolk Admirals security personnel have identified the method and access point for the data breach and successfully addressed the issue. Any relevant information or developments will be shared; however, additional security measures have been set in place to ensure a breach like this will not happen in the future.
