Admirals Hire Santos As New President

NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, are proud to announce the hiring of Michael Santos as the team's new president, per Mango Media Group's Ardon Wiener and Michael Gargy.

Santos comes to the Admirals after previously serving as the Director of Hockey Operations and Assistant General Manager of the New York Islanders, Director of Hockey Operations for the Florida Panthers and General Manager of the Rochester Americans and San Antonio Rampage.

The new president will arrive in Norfolk on Monday and assume the role immediately. Additionally Wiener and Gargy of Mango Media Group will be in Hampton Roads to welcome Santos to begin the week.

A gathering, open to both the media and the public, to introduce the new president will be held on Monday, November 7 at aLatte Cafe (321 Granby St., Norfolk, VA 23510) beginning at 3 PM.
