Admirals Acquire Rights To Goaltender Brandon Anderson

NORFOLK, VA. - The Norfolk Admirals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, have acquired the rights to goaltender Brandon Anderson the team announced on Tuesday.

Anderson, 24, had been playing with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League this season. Through seven games, the goalie posted a record of 2-4-0 with a 3.74 goals against and an .888 save percentage.

From 2012-2014, Anderson had 75 ECHL games, including a 25-10-2 season with the Reading Royals in 2013-14. Along with his time in Reading, the 6'0" - 187 lbs. netminder also started seven games for the South Carolina Stingrays and 13 for the Tulsa Oilers in 2014-15.
