Admirals Deal Krieg To Wheeling; Sign Lewis To ATO

NORFOLK, VA. – The Norfolk Admirals announced a pair of roster moves on Thursday, moving defenseman Mike Krieg and signing forward Jack Lewis.

First, the Admirals have traded defenseman Mike Krieg to the Wheeling Nailers for future considerations.  Krieg, 27, played in 41 games this season with the Admirals and recorded 12 points (2-10-12) over the course of the campaign.

Second, the Admirals have signed forward Jack Lewis to an amateur try out. Lewis, 24, is a 6’2” – 190 lbs. forward who just completed his college career at Lake Forest College. Hailing from London, Ontario, Canada, Lewis was the captain of the Division III NCAA program for the past two years.

Lewis will wear #21 and will be available to play this weekend when the Admirals host the Elmira Jackals at Norfolk Scope Arena on Friday and Saturday.
