Verpaelst Traded To Utah

NORFOLK, VA. – The Norfolk Admirals have traded defenseman Gabriel Verpaelst to the Utah Grizzlies in exchange for future considerations, the team announced on Tuesday.

Verpaelst, 23, had been with the Admirals / Bakersfield Condors ECHL franchise since the start of his professional career in 2014.  In his two seasons in Norfolk (2015-17), Verpaelst recorded 114 games, 12 games, 37 assists and 317 penalty minutes.

Norfolk hits the road tonight with games in Elmira on Thursday and Friday, Manchester on Sunday and Reading on next Tuesday as a part of a four-game road trip. All Admirals broadcasts are available to tune into on 102.1 FM The Tide and accessible to watch on ECHL.TV.
