Krepelka Receives Elevated Role For 2017-18

NORF­OLK, VA. – Norfolk Admirals President Michael Santos announced today that Paul Krepelka has been elevated to Director of Player Personnel.

“The Admirals are pleased to have Paul leading our player personnel department,” said Santos. “His work during the second half of the 2016-17 season assisted with our dramatic on-ice improvement.”

The former Admirals player Krepelka (1991-1993) joined the organization in January and served as the team’s Hockey Operations Manager, helping the organization with scouting, player acquisitions and contract negotiations.

In addition to winning a Riley Cup with the Admirals in 1992, the Arlington, Massachusetts native spent 20 years as an agent/partner with the Orr Hockey Group.  Twice Krepelka represented a number one overall selection in the NHL Entry Draft and managed some of the best players in the game.

Paul received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University, as well as a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.

The Admirals will open the season in Idaho on October 13 and their first game at Scope is slated for Friday, October 27.

Season memberships and are on sale now and start as low $500 for 36 games at Norfolk Scope Arena.
