Norfolk, VA. –Defenseman TJ Melancon has been released from his PTO with the Syracuse Crunch and will return to the club, the Admirals announced on Thursday afternoon.

He ranked second among all defensemen in goals (14) at the time of his recall to Syracuse. In four games with the Crunch the Oshawa, ON native registered five shots, in addition to a plus-one rating. It was the defenseman’s second stint in the AHL this season after appearing in a few games with Belleville in December.
