Norfolk, VA- The Admirals have acquired Toledo Walleye forward, Charlie O’Connor to complete the agreement for future considerations which sent Admirals forward Chris Crane to Toledo back in March.
O’Connor joins Norfolk after a two-year stint with the Toledo Walleye, 2018-2019 Western Conference champions. In his rookie year, O’Connor appeared in 41 contests during the Walleye’s 2017-2018 season, collecting 16 points (4G, 12A) and 12 penalty minutes, finishing the season as a plus 15.
More recently, in the 2018-2019 season for the Walleye, O’Connor appeared in 36 games, collecting eight goals, five assists, 24 penalty minutes, ending the season as a plus nine.
The 6’0”, 183lb forward attended Bemidji State University (Minnesota) from 2013-2017 with a business administration degree where he appeared in 148 games, accruing 26 goals and 27 assists during his college career.
The Admirals kick off their 2019-2020 season on October 11th at 7:30pm at Scope Arena.
