Gustafsson Signs With The Admirals

Norfolk, VA - The Norfolk Admirals are proud to announce that they have re-signed forward John Gustafsson for the 2019-2020 ECHL season. This will be Gustafsson’s 2nd season in Norfolk.

Gustafsson, 27, recorded 11 points in the 2018-2019 season (5g, 6a) over the 30 games played with the Admirals.

The 6’1, 185lbs Ljungby, Sweden native spent 4 seasons at NCAA D1 Merrimack College from 2012-2016, posting 19 points in 98 career games with the Warriors before turning pro. From 2016-2018, Gustafsson played for 3 teams (Pensacola, Macon, & Roanoke) in the SPHL, posting 44 points in 87 games before joining the Admirals last season.

The Admirals will open their 31st season of hockey at Scope arena on October 11th hosting the Florida Everblades. Season tickets are available now!
