NORFOLK, VA – The Norfolk Admirals announced they have re-signed forward Brandon Osmundson for the 2026-27 season.
The Chesapeake native enters his fourth full season with his hometown team after putting up career highs in almost every category in the 2025-26 season, including goals (21), assists (25), points (46), penalty minutes (74), and games played (69). His 21 goals were second on the team and 46 points ranked third.
Osmundson's most memorable game in 2025-26 came Feb. 13 against the Greensboro Gargoyles, where he put up one goal and three assists for four points, a single-game career high. He also accomplished three multi-goal games that helped him put 21 total on the year.
“Brandon has solidified himself as one of the premier penalty killers and energy players in our league,” said Jeff Carr, Admirals Head Coach and General Manager. “His versatility at center and wing paired with his relentless play will be counted on heavily this year.”
“I’m excited to be back home for another season! I can’t wait to get back on the ice in front of the best fans in the league,” Osmundson stated. “You guys are what makes the Scope such a special place to play. Looking forward to a great season ahead. See you guys soon!"
Osmundson’s entire ECHL career has resided in Norfolk, tallying 48 goals and 64 assists for 112 points in 117 games. He began his professional career in the SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League) before joining the Admirals amidst the 2023-24 season.
