Norfolk, VA – The Norfolk Admirals announced today that they have re-signed Forward Grant Hebert to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Hebert returns for his second full season and third stint with Norfolk, suiting up for 50 games in 2025-26. He set ECHL-career highs in every category: including games played (50), goals (13), assists (22), points (35) and penalty minutes (52).
"Grant Hebert has epitomized what being a Norfolk Admiral stands for," stated Admirals Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Carr. "He’s aggressive, physical in battles, drives play with his relentless winning drive."

The St. Andrews West, ONT native began his professional career with the ECHL's Allen Americans; working in 18 goals and 28 assists for 46 points across 80 games in two seasons from 2022 to 2024.
Before coming to Norfolk, Hebert signed with the Manchester Storm in the United Kingdom's Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) to start the 2024-25 season. He put up 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points in 32 games before having his ECHL contract rights traded from Reading to Norfolk on Feb.15; signing with the Admirals for the rest of the season. He appeared in 24 games: scoring five goals and adding 11 assists for 16 points.
Before going pro, Hebert spent nine seasons across the junior and collegiate levels of hockey that included a Clark Cup run with the Fargo Force in the USHL (United States Hockey League). He also spent seasons with the Cornwall Colts and the Cumberland Grads (Central Canada Hockey League), Robert Morris University (Atlantic Hockey America) and University of Maine (Hockey East).
The Admirals open their 2026-27 season on the road in Savannah, Georgia against the Ghost Pirates on Friday, October 16th at 7 pm. Norfolk skates at home for the first time at Scope Arena on Friday, October 23rd against the Trois Rivières Lions at 7:05 pm.
